The Pampas Group of Restaurants is a name that has become synonymous with quality steak in Malaysia. In 2016 the group took over a section of the cluster of turn of the century shop houses on Jalan Raja Chulan, refreshed and refurbished, to become one of the city’s most enticing dining destinations.
Pampas oozes with character, composed as it is of a number of areas each with their own distinctive charm. The main dining room is a study in chic interiors, marrying old world charm and modern furnishings. In the next room over is the Kapitan Bar, where guests can polish up on their Malaysian history by gazing at photos depicting life in the capital over 100 years ago. Meanwhile, an al fresco dining area offers guests some of the finest outside seating in the Golden Triangle – a literal stone’s throw from the KL Tower.
It’s all about meat at Pampas which is sourced from the finest suppliers across Australia. Tender rib eyes, juicy sirloins, hearty ribs and flavour-packed shanks – each cut is prepared with the utmost care.
