Founded by Sheerin Zalani some 14 years ago, Lavand has established itself as one of the finest purveyors in Malaysia for Middle Eastern delicacies and in particular baklava. Composed of buttery-crisp filo pastry that comes layered with cinnamon, honey or a variety of nuts, up to three days goes into making each handcrafted piece, which contains specially sourced ingredients from around the world. Lavand also offers artisanal chocolates and confectionaries such as nougats and dragees, which are presented in beautifully crafted boxes and hamper containers.
