With some three decades of cooking experience under his apron, Chef Thein is well-versed in the art of Cantonese cuisine, and also knows his way around Sichuan and Southeast Asian dishes.

The talented Melaka-born chef has been heading up the kitchen at Lai Po Heen for the past half a dozen years where he keeps traditional flavours alive, and his deep affection for food ensures that no matter which menu item a diner selects, it would put a smile on their face.
