IBUNDA
Traditional Malay ingredients, modern fusion cuisine

Amid the skyscrapers, busy roads and pulsating night clubs lining the streets in Bukit Bintang stands a Malay village house built in 1946 -revamped and refurbished into the elegant Ibunda - a new and exclusive Malay fine dining restaurant with an impressive menu.

A treasure chest of hidden wonders beholds the guests to this expanse restaurant comprising two levels. The ground floor houses the general dining area whereas the upper floor is where one will find several private dining spaces as well as a handsome cigar lounge.

This new establishment was launched in January 2009 and features a unique menu of traditional and some long forgotten Malay ingredients which are cleverly fused into new cuisines. Chef Zabidi Ibrahim is responsible for creating the fabulous menu ideas at Ibunda where some of the dishes are truly unique of the establishment.
