Food has always been a central part in Chef Redzuan’s life, having been drawn into the kitchen by his mother who taught him the foundations of cookery and then assisting in the family catering business. Rushing home from school each day, he used to love helping out wherever he could, gleaning knowledge and making himself useful.

His love for food eventually brought him to Genting Highlands, a place he has called home for some two decades. Here he started at the very bottom rung of the culinary ladder and climbed his way up to his present position at The Olive with the help of Group Chef of Resorts World Genting, Oliver Lopez.

This will be Chef Radzuan’s second year in MIGF, and he is once again looking forward to meeting new chefs, sharing food news with his peers and getting to know what is trending in the contemporary culinary scene.

His pristine Festival Menu this year contains classics such as smoked salmon, duck live mousse and lamb rack with venison loin, all plated in some of the most creative presentations you will ever see. Indeed, Chef Radzuan’s plates blur the boundaries between food and art.
