Chef Casey Lim Khon Seng  
“Everything is edible – don’t be afraid to try anything!” This is one of Chef Casey’s mottos in life and the philosophy by which he cooks on a day to day basis. As a child, he would curiously watch his mother toiling away in the kitchen, eager to get his hands stuck in. It wasn’t long until the budding chef entered the heart of his home and started cooking. 

Today, as Executive Sous Chef for the Genting Club, the Kelantan born chef cooks what he feels like eating and gets inspired by simply shopping for fresh produce, browsing the rows of colourful foods. He loves getting feedback from his customers and is keen to show his peers and foodies what he has up his chef’s sleeve this year. 

Chef Ikuo Umeda
Chef Umeda entered the culinary field relatively late in life at 18 years of age, after constant delivery of top notch food at private parties hosted by his friends and family. Eventually, after receiving strong encouragement from his close friends to take his passion to the next level, Chef Umeda took the plunge and entered the professional world of cookery. 

Chef Ikuo honed his skills in the prestigious Kappo HANA restaurant and after a brief two year stint studying bank Management he opened his first restaurant, OMOYA at the tender age of 28, with another three restaurants that followed.
