Samplings On The Fourteenth Restaurant has gained a reputation as one of the most premium Western restaurants in KL due in large part to the charming Chef Val, who carries more than 23 years of culinary experience with him.

During his tenure, he has been leading the team at Samplings from strength to strength, and the experience he has gained by competing and winning medals in food festivals in Switzerland, Vietnam and Malaysia is illustrated in the exquisite dishes he prepares. Chef Val also came first in a culinary arts competition last year organised by Food & Hotel Malaysia.

Chef Val’s love for food and its production is apparent immediately upon chatting with him, as is the signautre smile that is always plastered on his face and his warm personality. Don't be surprised to find yourself coming back for more of his delightful dishes time and time again.
