The floor-to-ceiling windows look out over beautiful Sunway Lagoon, one of the most lavish views you can enjoy at MIGF 2012. And West Lake Garden Chinese Restaurant, situated in the lobby of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, has the cuisine and décor to complement it. Exquisitely set tables are framed by Rosewood chairs polished to a high shine and the opulent red walls are studded with portraits and paintings of royal figures from a long-gone era.
Whether it’s for a high-end business dinner with important clients in one of the many private dining rooms or a casual get-together with friends, West Lake Garden caters to all diners and all occasions. As for its culinary offerings, the selection of authentic Hong Kong dim sum along with Cantonese and Szechuan specialities will please even the most discerning of diners, and the range of speciality liquors, champagnes and rare vintages have been chosen carefully to match the flavours found across the menu.
For the MIGF Menu, Chef Lee Yew Kee has pulled out all the stops to bring you an expansive selection of Chinese dishes, plus those influenced with Western elements. For example, you can tuck into a chicken broth made with components including escargot, saffron and wild mushroom, while the mains comprise drunken prawn infused with ginseng and egg white custard; wok-fried Wagyu with Suprême sauce and Shimeji; and steamed grouper wrapped in bamboo leaf.
And even if you choose the Light Festival Menu, you can still savour the appetisers, broth, garoupa and bird’s nest dessert in a complete festival of tastes.
