Experimenting with food, discovering complementary flavours, exotic spices, and unusual cooking techniques: these are the things that Chef Ng reveres most about being a chef.
His appetite for cooking started at the tender age of 17, and he has since accumulated over 27 years of experience, mainly focusing on Hong Kong cuisine, but always with an open mind to learn and absorb other types. He loves working with mushrooms and roots, two ingredients that are an integral part of this cuisine.
He also loves cooking for friends and family, and derives happiness from seeing them enjoy the fruits of what he enjoys doing most. Participating in MIGF for the first time, Chef Ng is looking very much forward to meeting and establishing relationships with new chefs, as well as wowing guests with his culinary creativity.
