A quiet and reserved demeanor serve to mask the driving force behind Chef Nathalie Arbefeuille. Her story is truly inspirational, being a self-taught chef and devoting herself to the thing she loves most. Having trained under renowned Michelin starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic, Nathalie moved to Asia with her husband almost 15 years ago to live in warmer climes.
She started organizing and preparing fine dining cocktail parties for prominent guests and diplomats in Bangkok, honing her culinary skills. 6 years ago she moved to KL and realized her dream of finally opening up her restaurant, Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio located in Solaris Dutamas.
Fast forward a year and the success of her first venture has led her to open her second outlet, this time with a focus on fine dining rather than bistro concept.
With a menu that changes every month, conducting cooking classes on a weekly basis at Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio, catering large events on a regular basis and running two restaurants, Nathalie is a busy lady. Sitting down with her though, her cool and relaxed manner completely betrays this fact.
