Negeri Sembilan-born Chef Zamri is the master behind Sagano’s delicious offerings. Using both local and imported ingredients, Zamri has created an outstanding menu for this year’s MIGF. Zamri emphasizes the importance of presentation.
“Food has to look authentic and alive. I love to balance textures, tastes and colours to please all senses,” he says. “Given the chance, I like to explore my creativity in appetizers. There is a lot of freedom in that course and I can use any ingredients from vegetables to beef,” he said.
His special recommendation for this year’s festival menu is grilled cod and wagyu beef as he says the secret lies in his special sauce. Quiet and unassuming, Zamri prefers to let his culinary creations do the talking.
