Chef Hisham is a graduate from Institute of Technology MARA (UiTM) majoring in culinary arts. Since his early days at the Hotel Istana, Hisham embarked on an adventurous journey honing and shaping his culinary skills working at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Villa Danieli Restaurant at Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Azamara Cruise Line, to name just a few.
Leaving Malaysia for a couple of years, Hisham returned in June 2010 to join Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) as Chef de Cuisine at Flame Restaurant.
“Cooking is like a woman. You have to treat the ingredients right or they’ll get back to you about it. I always respect every ingredient and their characters to bring the flavour to the maximum,” explained Hisham, who specializes in Mediterranean cuisine.
