At odds with his nick name of the ‘Assassino‘ back home in Italy, Chef Giovanni Ricci appears unassuming at first. When it comes to food and cooking however he stays to true to his moniker, as his creations come served in first class style, impossible to resist by diners.
From San Benedetto del Tronto, Chef Giovanni grew up along the coast in Italy, famous for its seafood. This shines through in his festival menu which features many seafood items.
Starting his career as Sous Chef in Goettingen, Germany, Chef Giovanni went on to serve with Sheraton Hotels in Bologna as well as the Hilton, Prague as Head Chef. Specializing in regional rustic cuisine, Chef Gionvanni also enjoys mingling with his diners.
