The city's most avant-garde restaurant, Zipangu features a dedicated cigar lounge, a walk-in wine and sake cellar, individual sushi, grill and kappou counters as well as private, semi-private and a-la-carte dining areas.

 

Designed by Super Potato, Japan, Zipangu offers a perfect balance between contemporary design and authentic cuisine. Fashioned after the modern 'Tokyo style' brasserie, the colour scheme is inspired by Nature. There is abundant use of timber and glass throughout the restaurant giving it a sense of space, while stone and water gardens at the entrance and in the restaurant create a Zen-like calm and peace for the outlet.

 

Zipangu, the city's most contemporary one-stop entertainment and Japanese food outlet has a total seating capacity of 178 persons including the bar lounge. Zipangu was accorded the Most Creative Festival Menu, the Best All Round Restaurant and the Most Outstanding Festival Cuisine at the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival 2006.
