Hi everyone,
I just had Chef Mike Yip's Festive Set tonight. And I was so moved having this meal that I teared three times. Once for the Sashimi course, once for the Cod fish, and once for the dessert.

'Brilliant' simply cannot explain the brilliance of the effect of the meal had on me.

I have had much unsatisfaction with the service and communication breakdown with my stay so far at the Holiday Inn Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur. So much so that I was actually dreading to go downstairs to Fu-Rin for dinner tonight. As it is, I did not have much expectation for the restaurants in this establishment because of how everything was going, which was downhill.

And I must say, my experience at Fu-Rin has salvaged my impression of the Hotel Resort.

That really says something, because, my impression of my stay has been very much less than satisfactory, from the concierge services to the Spa services.

Fu- Rin, you have made my holiday in Kl a memorable one. Many thanks to Chef Mike Yip for his humble demeanor and excellent creative form of Japanese food preparation, and the welcoming and attentive staff of the restaurant adding to the lovely experience I had at the restaurant.

The next time I come to Kl, the resort probably would not be my first choice to stay in, but I will definitely try to come have at least one meal before I leave again =)
