As the Sous Chef of Vansh Kuala Lumpur, Chef Vijay is instrumental in shaping the culinary offerings of the restaurant, constantly ensuring that Vansh lives up to the quality standards that the Singapore-based Rang Mahal Group, which it is operated and owned by, is known for.
 
Born in India in 1976, Chef Vijay specializes in curry and tandoor dishes, and previously worked in luxury hotel Hyatt Regency Mumbai before moving to Kuala Lumpur. Having joined the culinary team since 2005, Chef Vijay has an intimate understanding of the dining landscape in KL, which helps him substantially in creating new dishes for the menu and for ad-hoc promotions. His personal favourites at Vansh include the Tandoori Lamp Chop, Honey Kulzza and Chooranwale Corn Kebab.
