Dynasty's kitchen has been headed by award-winning Chinese Chef Tan Kim Weng for twelve years. Ipoh-born Chef Tan, who has 20+ years of culinary experience will go to great lengths in ensuring that Dynasty lives up to its reputation as a Chinese restaurant.
 
Known for his delectable seafood creations, the unassuming Chef Tan specialises in flavourful Cantonese cuisine that is both delicious and healthy, and takes special care to ensure that presentation of his dishes are as exquisite as the food itself.
 
Chef Tan quotes, "I like to introduce new ideas from Western and Oriental cuisine into traditional Chinese dishes." He added, "Cantonese cuisine is famously subtle and the cooking techniques are kept simple such as steaming, braising or stir-frying." His creative culinary pursuits have resulted in Cantonese dishes that are truly outstanding.
 
Chef Tan, who has participated in six (6) previous festivals, is excited to be preparing intrinsically light-on-the-palate dishes which emphasise the distinct primary flavours for both first-time and regular customers.
