Chef Sonthaya began his culinary journey as a mere kitchen helper back in Thailand at the age of 24. His passion for food soon grew along with his experience, and when he had the opportunity to work in Malaysia, Chef Sonthaya adventurously embarked on his next challenge without looking back.
For nearly 10 years, Chef Sonthaya has been leading the team at the Sea Cuisine Group of Restaurants, not just as an in-house cook but as a Head Chef. Among his duties are to monitor the culinary quality and presentation of all Sea Cuisine Restaurant. "Passion is my main ingredient," says the Chef, who also counts fishing among one of his favourite hobbies - and yes, he does enjoy experimenting on his catch of the day!
