Making a come back from a one year long sabbatical, Chef de Cuisine Ricky Thein Yiew Ming is looking forward to another successful and exciting MIGF this year. Related to Master Chef Bong Jun Choi, he has clearly inherited the ‘cooking’ genes and cites his illustrious cousin as one of the main influences in his culinary career.
“Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures,” says Chef Ricky. For him, food is not only nourishment, but is also a form of creative visual art. “People must know how to enjoy their food and not just eat to fill their stomachs! I love eating well, and I love presenting food well too!” he said with zest.
