On 18 November 2008, a special mid-Festival event was held in KL’s hottest new dance club, Ministry of Sound - Euphoria at Sunway Lagoon Resort, for over 1,500 guests. Recognising the connection between the world’s food and fashion capitals, MIGF teamed up with the Melium Group to present STYLE ROCKS! – a monumental celebration of art, design and passion, in an evening of high fashion, champagne, wine, cocktails, celebrities, models, glamour, runway, dance, music & life!

With a dress code described as ‘rockingly glamorous’, STYLE ROCKS! was certainly one of the biggest and most ‘happening’ events ever held in K.L. For one night only, Ministry of Sound - Euphoria was transformed into the Ministry of Style showcasing international ready-to-wear and accessory brands in one huge electrifying runway show. The full diversity of KL society, from royalty, captains of industry and style arbiters to entertainment personalities and the cool and hip joined in for an unforgettable experience. Kuala Lumpur was certainly stylishly branded as a rocking international food, fashion and fun capital.
