During the past 13 years within the culinary scene in Kuala Lumpur, Chef Wong Wing Chong, the Chef de Cuisine at Kim Ma, has made his mark in many distinguished restaurants and hotels.
Specialising in Cantonese cuisine with experience in preparing Hakka dishes, Chef Wong started as a kitchen apprentice at Tai Thong Restaurant. He then moved to Frankfurt, Germany to take on the position of Chinese Chef at the Dynasty China Restaurant in the Arabella Grand Hotel. Chef Wong later returned to KL to become the Sous Chef at The Legend Hotel’s Museum Chinese Restaurant, and then the Executive Chef at the Marco Polo Restaurant. Even with a wealth of experience and numerous accolades, he is still very determined to expand his expertise and culinary skills.
