Fourth-time MIGF participant, Chef Eric Lee Mun Chun is living his dream: from a very young age, he always wanted to be a chef. “My job is not just to cook, but to make my guests happy and satisfied. That drives me to constantly create new dishes,” says Ipoh-born Chef Eric. Having trained in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, he often travels to Taiwan, Singapore and China to broaden his experience and knowledge, and to promote Malaysian food abroad. Throughout his culinary career, Chef Eric has been the proud recipient of numerous awards, and while Chinese cuisine is his forte, he also infuses elements of Thai, Japanese and Malaysian styles.

For this year's MIGF, Chef Eric offers hard-to-find dishes inspired by authentic Chinese village cuisine. He also presents the sort of nutritious, traditional home-made cooking that evokes nostalgia - just like grandma used to make, but deliciously presented in a modern style.
