THE CHEF
Ipoh-born Executive Sous Chef Eric Lee Mun Chun is living his dreams: from a very young age, he wanted to be a chef. “My job is not just to cook, but to make my guests happy and satisfied,” says Chef Lee, “that drives me to constantly create new dishes.”
He has trained in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, and has travelled to Taiwan, Singapore and China. He has been the proud recipient of numerous awards, including the Gold and Silver medals for the World Champion of Chinese Cuisine 2002 and the Excellence in Gold award in the 5th Golden Chef Competition.
While Chinese cuisine is Chef Lee's forte, he infuses elements of Thai and Malaysian cooking into his creations and presents them in the Western style.
