Home to distinctive traditional Indochinese village cuisine, this unique restaurant blends luxury dining with intimate and natural settings. Authentic treats from Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam await discerning diners waiting to experience a culinary affair unlike any other in KL. From subtle, delicately flavoured delights unique to the countries of origin to bold culinary statements, diners will find dishes created for the royal family alongside those from the humble homes of paddy farmers. As KL’s very first and only Jungle Luxe dining concept, Tamarind Springs has created a unique space for diners where they can wine and dine elegantly close to mother nature.

THE CHEF
Executive Chef Somkhuan Wandee finds inspiration in her grandmother, who once served her culinary creations to the King of Siam. “My mother and grandmother were cooks; it’s in my blood. Cooking is part of my life,” she says.
Picking up her skills from a tender age, mostly learning recipes handed down through generations, Chef Somkhuan has played a key role in the many awards that Tamarind Springs has won. Always aiming to tantalize the taste buds of diners, Chef Somkhuan continually improves the menu at Tamarind Springs and explores her creativity by creating scrumptious new dishes.
