Prego’s fun, laid back atmosphere is evident the moment you cross its threshold: its outgoing staff, warm, colourful décor and authentic Italian cuisine will have you coming back for more.
The restaurant’s dark wood décor is brought to life and highlighted with bright hues framing a live action kitchen where you can see your meal prepared. Michelin Chef David King, Director Kitchens for Westin Kuala Lumpur, ensures that the food meets and exceeds the high standard set by the surrounds. |

THE CHEF
Chef Tournant of The Westin Kuala Lumpur, Rajesh Kanna, represents Prego in the MIGF. Johor-born Chef Rajesh has worked in various renowned hotels in Malaysia and Singapore and brings to Prego more than a decade of experience. His passion is Italian food, and the pinnacle of his training in this cuisine thus far was several weeks in Italy researching and experiencing Italian food and cooking methods at their point of origin.
Chef Rajesh thrives with the daily challenges of being a chef, cherishing what he learns from them. He also enjoys the perks of his occupation: “Being a chef is wonderful; you can try any dish first-handto someone who loves food as much as I do, it’s heaven!”
