Combining modern Japanese classic design and cuisine, Iketeru’s dining room is a study in understated sophistication. Diners gather around the traditional teppanyaki tables to witness dishes being prepared by Iketeru’s expert chefs or sit at the sushi bar to watch the delicate art of sushi and sashimi preparation.

Outdoor tables in a beautifully sculpted and Zen-inspired rock garden complete with cascading waterfalls and gently flowing fountains, are the perfect venue for dining as the sun goes down. Likewise, tatami rooms and private dining areas offer the ultimate space for an intimate dinner with friends, family and business associates.

THE CHEF
Executive Japanese Chef Ricky Kamiishi draws on years of experience in preparing traditional Japanese cuisine, inspired by seasonal seafood and vegetables and his roots in and travels to Japan. Chef Ricky brings the highest quality seafood straight from Japan. His style highlights the freshness of his palate as he paints masterworks that underscore the quality of the ingredients while allowing the beautiful natural flavours and textures to take centre stage. “I’m a man of few words, thus, I let my dishes do the talking. You’ll see what I mean when you let your tastebuds enjoy a conversation with my food,” he says cheekily.
Iketeru and their Chef Kamiishi invite diners to engage all their senses as he brings an authentic taste of Japan to the heart of KL.
