| Rustic meets refined in Ishq’s beautiful main dining room, leading out to a recessed alfresco dining area, providing a welcome escape and quiet haven from the city din above. Diners enjoy a garden oasis, complete with a gently cascading waterfall that falls over mossy rocks. Indoors, rich reds, blacks and browns mix with playful purple accents, white and off-white to create a welcoming and luxurious dining area. In the middle of the main dining room, a gentle three-level water feature creates a soothing background sound and a visual focal point for the space as the water overflows from an urn, creating a gentle, three step cascade. Meanwhile, an upstairs bar and lounge invites diners to relax in the plush surrounds while private dining rooms afford personal space for entertaining friends, family and business associates. |

THE CHEF Executive Thai Chef Mongkhon prides himself on creating traditional Thai cuisine with contemporary presentation. Born in Eastern Thailand, the chef grew up in the kitchen, showing a strong inclination to cook from an early age with encouragement from his mother. After extensive training in South East Asia, he commenced his career in Malaysia in 1991, further perfecting his skills. The chef never forgets what’s important in fine dining: “I like to talk to diners, to find out what they like.
